"Father, craftsman and small-scale farmer." Raised on a farm in southern Jutland, Denmark, Frank Erichsen moved to Norway in 2000 to work on a farm, restoring old wooden houses, and herding reindeers for a Sami family. He bought the farm Kastaniegaarden in 2005 and, since 2008, he has been the host on the succesful Danish television show “Bonderøven” (now “Frank & Kastaniegaarden”) on self-sufficient living which is broadcasted in all the Nordic countries. He is board member of Den Danske Naturfond (the Danish nature fund) since 2016, co-owner of the education and communication platform Handar, host of the television show “giv os naturen tilbage (give us nature back)” since 2019.
