As a Clan Mother of the Turtle Clan, Onondaga Nation, Freida Jacques (Whatwehnineh) is a bridge between her own culture and educational institutions in Central New York and wherever needed.  Freida Jacques has been a public scholar for the New York Humanities Council and has worked as a Home/School Liaison at the Onondaga Nation School. She helped educate the New York State.
