Join this advanced five-day masterclass to dive deep into the design, implementation, and scaling of food forests—from individual farms to entire landscapes. Through site visits, interactive sessions, and expert-led discussions, participants will explore the full potential of agroforestry and food forests as tools for ecosystem restoration, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods.

The course features two leading experts: Wouter van Eck, renowned food forest pioneer and ecological design expert, and Prof. Euridice Leyequien, a specialist in forested landscapes and ecosystem resilience.

Participants will engage with cutting-edge topics including ecological design, water management, climate adaptation, business models, market access, and consumer engagement. A structured “think tank session” will guide participants in co-creating actionable insights for building resilient, productive landscapes.

Expect hands-on learning, in-depth dialogue, and the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of practitioners, land stewards, researchers, and changemakers. The course includes visits to flagship food forest and agroforestry projects, offering real-world context and inspiration.

Coffee, tea, and lunches are included!

This course is designed to foster an integrated approach by bringing together participants from diverse backgrounds and disciplines.
