This year on World Mangrove Day, Global Mangrove Watch (GMW) 4.1 will be launched – a new and improved version of the global mangrove monitoring platform. The world's leading mangrove data platform will have more detail than ever before - empowering governments, investors, scientists, park managers, project planners and local communities to better protect, manage and restore the world's mangroves.
Interested in being among the first to explore the updated GMW platform?
On Monday 27 July, the Global Mangrove Alliance is co-organising a launch webinar with Wetlands International, The Nature Conservancy, SoloEO and Aberystwyth University. You will be shown some of the new features and you’ll have the opportunity to learn how GMW is used globally and locally. Featured speakers include: Thomas Worthington, Dan Friess, Pete Bunting, Kate Longley-Wood and Edmond Kuto.
