Small Grants flyer

The G20 Global Land Initiative has launched the second round of the Restoration Returns small grants programme for 2025. This programme will fund projects that deliver powerful outcomes, such as revitalizing ecosystems, strengthening community resilience, creating sustainable livelihoods and creating long-term economic benefits.

Eligibility

Projects from all countries in the world are eligible. The call is open to organizations of all sizes for activities at the community level. Whether you are a grassroots organization, local NGO or civil society group working to restore degraded landscapes, this is your opportunity to secure funding and grow your impact.

Civil society organizations, particularly those that are accredited with UNCCD, will be considered for the support.

Each selected project will receive a grant of USD 17,000, an increase from USD 15,000 last year. This support is also an opportunity to showcase your work ahead of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP17) taking place in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, in August 2026.
