As part of the Global Landscape Initiative, Greenpop and the UNCCD are thrilled to invite participants to an immersive learning experience at the Reforest Fest in South Africa, taking place from 16-21 April 2025. This is a chance to be part of a global environmental restoration movement and learn how to run a community-driven restoration events from experts.

A Call for Participants
This initiative is seeking individuals who are passionate about environmental restoration, want to organise festivals or large-scale restoration activations, and are eager to make a tangible impact in their communities.

What is the Reforest Fest?
Reforest Fest is Greenpop's flagship event, uniting hundreds of volunteers for a weekend filled with tree planting, arts, music, and educational workshops in the beautiful Uilenkraal Valley. This immersive experience combines ecological restoration with a celebratory festival format, fostering lasting change in our communities. Check out this video from the last event.

Why Attend?
•    Learn and grow: Gain practical experience in hosting citizen-led environmental restoration initiatives.

•    Five nights of camping accommodation.
•    Meals throughout the festival.
