What if satellite data could make monitoring rewilding simpler, more affordable and more accessible?

On 16 October, from 16:00–17:00 EAT, the Global Rewilding Alliance will host an online webinar exploring how satellite remote sensing can help practitioners monitor nature recovery across entire rewilding areas using free data and cloud-based tools.

Marking the launch of the report Leveraging Space for Rewilding: How Satellite Remote Sensing Is Unlocking New Possibilities for Rewilding Success, the session will bring together space agencies, researchers and rewilding practitioners to share practical applications and real-world examples, including more than 20 years of satellite-based monitoring at the Knepp Estate.

Open to rewilding practitioners of all experience levels, the webinar will feature short presentations, a panel discussion and an open Q&A, highlighting how satellite remote sensing can provide cost-effective, scalable and reproducible data for monitoring rewilding outcomes.

Explore how space-based technology can strengthen your rewilding work. Register here for the online event.
