As the world moves beyond COP30 and into the final stretch of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, the global palm oil sector stands at a defining moment. By early 2026, the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) will have been in force for several months, reshaping market expectations for traceability and transparency. This represents major opportunities for Asian producer countries to demonstrate leadership and experiences in sustainable palm oil. The forum will build on this momentum by bringing together not only the established leaders in sustainable palm oil, but also new voices and partners from across policy, business, finance, science, and civil society.
