COP30 concluded recently, marking an important milestone in the global conversation on climate justice and human rights through the outcomes of the Global Ethical Stocktake. As we reflect on what this COP represented for children and youth, this Youth Summit Talk brings together the many ways they contributed to these discussions.

Earlier this year, Plant-for-the-Planet adapted the Global Ethical Stocktake (GES) consultation exercise specifically for children and youth, gathering their visions, concerns, and priorities for the future. At COP30 in Belém, our delegation-led by youth leader and Director of Plant-for-the-Planet Brazil, Luciano Frontelle, supported children in delivering the results of the children’s GES directly to the COP Presidency, ensuring that their demands were heard on one of the world’s most important climate stages.

In this session of the Youth Summit Talks, The Plant for the Planet team will share the outcomes of the children’s GES consultations and highlight the participation and experiences of our young delegates working on during COP30. To continue celebrating children’s and youth empowerment, the new Global Ambassador Council (2025–2027) will be publicly introduced, marking the beginning of a new chapter of youth leadership within the global community of Plant-for-the-Planet.

This edition of Youth Summit Talk is tailored for Climate Justice Ambassadors aged 14 - 25 and other members of Plant-for-the-Planet’s International Community, young climate activists, youth organizations working in biodiversity, ecosystem’s restoration, or community empowerment, NGOs, educators, and the general public.
