Episode #3 of the A Restor Story series follows Jorge, an ethnobotanist and nature guide in Brazil who has dedicated his life and career to protecting and educating others about the magic of the Atlantic Forest in Brazil. The Atlantic Forest has often been overshadowed by the Amazon Rainforest. This ecological gem, stretching along Brazil's eastern coast, is now critically endangered, with around 28% of its original cover remaining.
In the film, Jorge is exploring ways to combine maintaining the biodiversity of the Atlantic rainforest whilst also building a livelihood around it through ecotourism and gastronomy (growing food regeneratively and selling it to local chefs).
